The process for managingbrowser history in Safari on an iPhoneis slightly different.

These elements enhance your browsing experience, but you may want to delete your browsing history for privacy reasons.

The History button

You canmanage your web browsing historyon the iPad in two ways.

The easiest option is to do it directly in Safari:

pop launch the Safari web surfing app.

Select theBookmarksicon (it looks like an open book) at the top of the screen.

Select theclockicon to open theHistorypane.

A list of sites visited over the past month appears.

To delete a single website from the web app history, swipe left on its name.

Clear options

Select your preferred option to remove the browsing history from your iPad and all connectediClouddevices.

For a thorough cleaning, go to the iPadSettingsapp.

you’ve got the option to also delete the browsing history andcookiesfrom the options app.

Clearing the history this way deletes everything Safari saved.

go for the gear icon on the Home screen to initiate the iPadSettings.

Scroll down and selectSafari.

SelectClearto confirm, or selectCancelto return to the Safari tweaks without removing any data.

For example, it can save passwords and preferences for frequently visited sites.

The Website Data section

Scroll to the bottom of the Safari controls screen and selectAdvanced.

SelectWebsite Datato display a breakdown of the data each website currently stores on the iPad.

SelectShow All Sitesto display the expanded list if necessary.
