How to Make the Gmail Unread Count Visible in Tabs

You can see your unread email count in Gmail even if you pin the tab. Here's how to add a number to the icon.

This tweak displays an unread-message count overlaying the Gmail icon in yourChrometab.

In theUnread message iconsection, selectEnable, then selectSave Changes.

Now, your Gmail Chrome tab will display the number of unread messages you currently have.
