The arrows can be copied and pasted like regular text into any document that accepts text.
Open theCharacter MapusingStart>Windows Accessories, yourSearchbox, or withCortana.
When you see the arrow you want to use, choose it and clickSelect.
This moves it to theCharacters to copybox.
When the Character Viewer opens, selectArrowson the left.
Press and hold thecaretkey which is in the second row.
Slide your finger to the arrow you want and release.
Make an Arrow on iPhone
On an iPhone, youuse the emoji keyboardto place an arrow.
Tap either theEmojibutton on the bottom left of the keyboard or theGlobekey and chooseEmoji.
In the search field at the top of the emoji keyboard, enter arrow.
Youll then see directional arrows inside of squares.
Tap to insert the one you want into your document.
