How to Lock Apps on Android With Screen Pinning
Screen pinning locks an app in open view.
Attempting to close it or pull up the home screen prompts the lock screen security input.

Turn onUse app pinning(orPin windows,orScreen pinning) to enable it.
TapAsk for PIN before unpinningto enable it for increased security.
Tap the app icon, then tapPin(orPin this app).

To unpin the app, press and holdBackandOverview(orHome) simultaneously.
On older Androids, tap thethumbtackicon to pin or unpin the app.

Norton App Lock is free to download and supports Android 4.1 and up.
Once installed, launch the app.
When prompted for permission, selectOK.

SelectNorton App Lockand turn onAllow display over other apps.
Tap thebackbutton, then tapSetup.
SelectNorton App Lock Serviceand turn onUse Norton App Lock Serviceto enable it.

On some devices, selectInstalled servicesto find theNorton App Lock Service.
Draw an unlock pattern or tapSwitch to Passcode, then enter a password.
If you don’t see the pattern screen right away, tap theBackbutton until you do.

Draw your unlock pattern again to confirm, or tapResetto re-enter it.
choose the Google account you wish to use for password resetting, then selectOK.
Tap theyellow lock iconin the upper-right corner to turn App Lock on or off.
It should be highlighted by default, but if not, turn it on.
Tap the app you wish to passcode protect so that thelockicon next to it is highlighted.
Once apps are locked, only the passcode you created earlier will grant access.
