Here’s how:
Place the cursor in the position where you want to add a symbol.
Go toInsertand, in theSymbolsgroup, chooseSymbol.
If the symbol you need isn’t listed underRecently used symbols, scroll through the collection to find one.
In PowerPoint for Mac, enter search criteria in theSearchbox to find symbols or emoji.
SelectCloseto wrap up the dialog box and view your newly inserted symbol.
This shortcut is faster to use than theInsert>Symbolsmenu.
To quickly add the copyright symbol to a slide, key in(c).
This simplekeyboard shortcutswitches the typed text (c) to the symbol on a PowerPoint slide.
To use these, you’ll first need to install an add-in from the Microsoft Store.
In theAdd-ins group, selectGet Add-ins.
In theOffice Add-insdialog box, enterEmoji Keyboardin theSearchbox and pressEnter.
SelectAddnext to the Emoji Keyboard add-in.
TheEmoji Keyboardis added to theInserttab.
(Look for the smiley.)
This opens theEmoji Keyboardpane and displays tons of emoji choices.
Either scroll through the list or enter search criteria in theSearch Emojifield.
Once you’ve decided on size or as text only, snag the emoji to insert into your slide.
