Why Highlight?
Heres how to highlight in Excel.
bring up the Microsoft Excel document on your equipment.

Select a cell you want to highlight.
Toselect a group of cells in Excel, select one, pressShift, then select another.
Alternatively, you could select individual cells that are separate from each other by holding downCtrlwhile you select them.

From the top menu, selectHome, followed byCell Styles.
A menu with a variety of cell color options pops up.
When you find a highlight color that you like, select it to apply the change.

If you change your mind, pressCtrl+Zto undo the cell highlight.
Repeat for any other cells that you want to apply a highlight to.
Open your Microsoft Excel document.

Double-smack the cell containing text you want to format.
If you’re having trouble performing a double-click, you may need toadjust your mouse sensitivity.
Press the left mouse button and drag it across the words you want to colorize to highlight them.

A small menu appears.
Select a text color from the pop-up color palette.
The color is applied to the selected text.

Select elsewhere in the Excel document to deselect the cell.
However, if you dont like any of the available choices, you could create your own personal style.
Open a Microsoft Excel document.

SelectHome, followed byCell Styles.
Enter a name for the new cell style and then selectFormat.
SelectFillin the Format Cells window.

Choose a fill color from the palette.
You should now see your custom cell style at the top of the Cell Styles menu.
