SelectView>Organize by Conversationfrom the Mail menu bar.
IfOrganize by Conversationhas a check mark next to it, threading is enabled.
If not, click it to place a check mark and enable conversations.
Make conversations stand out in your inbox by selectingView>Highlight Conversationsin the Mail menu bar.
Go to theViewingtab of the Mail preferences.
Close theViewingsettings window to back up your preferences.
Go to the folder for which you want to disable conversation view.
ClickOrganize by Conversationto remove the check mark next to the option.
To browse your mail organized by thread:
OpenMailon your Mac.
SelectViewin the menu bar.
ClickOrganize by Threadto place a check mark next to the option.
