You’ll also need a PC and an Oculus Link cable.
A few song packs are available, but even those are limited.
You must activateunknown sourcesto complete this process.

Using the Meta Quest app on your rig, go toSettings>General> toggle onunknown sources.
You then need to kill the app, turn on debugging, and connect to SideQuest.
If anything goes wrong, a backup will allow you to restore the app to its original condition.

Tap the Developer Modetoggle.
To turn on Developer Mode, your account must have a valid debit/credit card associated with it.
Alternatively, useOculus Developer Hub (ODH)to set up Developer Mode.

A web page will open.
Scroll until you find thedeveloper.oculus.com/manage/organizations/createlink, and tap it.
Enter an organization name, and tapI understand.

The web page doesnt render well on mobile, so you will likely have to scroll horizontally.
TapI Agree, andSubmit.
Return to the Meta Quest app, and tap theDeveloper Modetoggle again.

Here’s how to set it up.
If you have the Meta Quest app open on your machine, close it before proceeding.
If prompted to turn on Oculus Link, do not turn it on.

You will not see the USB debugging message if the app is active.
Go toSideQuest, and selectGET SIDEQUEST.
Choose the download button associated with your operating system, and save the installer to your gear.

spin up the installer, and selectNext.
double-check the Run SideQuest box is checked, and selectFinish.
Connect your Quest or Quest 2 to your rig using a link cable.

Put your headset on, and look for a USB debugging message.
For easier setup next time, check theAlways allow from this computerbox.
Your headset is now connected to SideQuest.

Consider Backing Up Beat Saber
You may want to consider creating a backup before you proceed.
It isnt necessary, but its a good idea.
Open SideQuest, and choose thefolder icon.

Go toAndroid>Dataand select thedisk iconnext tocom.beatgames.beatsaber.
If thats the case, youll have to wait for BMBF to update and loop back and try.
Go to theBMBF site, and grab the most recent .apk file to download it.

Open SideQuest, and choose theAPK installation icon(box with small downward-facingarrow).
Select theapps icon(square made of nine smaller squares).
TapSettings icon(gear) next to BMBF.

Put your headset on.
Youll need to sign up for a SyncSaber account and then use it in BMBF on your Quest.
Using a web net web surfer on your setup, go toBeat Saber, and selectLOG IN.

Enter theusernameyou want and youremail address.
Wait for a confirmation email, and follow the link.
Enter apassword, selectreset password, and your account is ready to use.

Put on your Quest or Quest 2 headset.
Using the BMBF website, locate a song you want, and select thearrow icon.
Select any additional songs you want.

SelectSync to Beat Saber.
If prompted for storage permission, selectAllow.
Beat Saber will launch with your custom songs.

Download and set up the Meta Quest app on your smartphone.
Toreset the Quest or Quest 2using the headset, press and hold thepowerandvolume downbuttons until it turns on.
Use thevolumebutton to highlightFactory reset, then press thepowerbutton.

The Quest and Quest 2 controllers each use one AA battery.
