Here are some possible reasons why your Fire tablet’s camera isn’t working.
How Do I Fix the Camera on My Amazon Tablet?
reset your Fire tablet.
Press and hold the power button, then tapPower Off.
Press the power button again to turn on the tablet.
If there’s a temporary software conflict, this should handle the problem.
flush the app cache.
In the unit prefs, dump the cache and data for the Camera app.
Check the app permissions.
Restart the app, then grant permission to reach the camera when prompted.
Change the parental controls.
Go toSettings>Parental Controls>Amazon Content and Apps>Camerato change it from Blocked toUnblocked.
When you pop pop the app, grant permission to reach the camera.
Replace the Fire tablet’s camera yourself.
Taking apart your Fire tablet will void the warranty.
Be extremely careful to not further damage any of the parts.
Reset your Fire tablet.
A reset will restore the tablet to factory parameters.
To take photos and videos, use theCameraapp.
go for the toggle switch next to an app to grant permission.
