In theSearchbox, enter%appdata%.
Select theRoamingitem that appears on the menu.
In the Windows Explorer window, selectThunderbird>Profiles.
Each folder in this folder is a profile on your box.
Alternatively, navigate directly to your profile folder atC:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\.
Or, use the Thunderbird menu pathHelp>Troubleshooting information, then selectShow Folder.
On the menu bar, select theGomenu.
Press and hold theOptionkey, then selectLibrary.
Open theThunderbirdfolder, then open theProfilesfolder.
Your profile folder is within this folder.
If you only have one profile, its folder hasdefaultin the name.
These are hidden folders.
After you locate your Profile folder,back upormove your Mozilla Thunderbird profile, orarchive specific folders.
What Are Profile Folders?
Mozilla Thunderbird saves your personal information in a set of files called a Profile.
If something goes wrong with a Thunderbird update, your information will still be available.
