Use Instant Street View on a desktop surfing app or on the web surfing app on your mobile gadget.
Instant Street View searches for a match and takes you there.
If your entry is vague, a drop-down list of suggested locations appears.
Navigate to Google Mapson a web internet tool.
In the upper-left corner, enter a place or address in the search field.
If you don’t get a pop-up, Street View is not available for that location.
Select any blue highlighted area on the map to open Street View imagery.
If you have an Android machine, download the official Google Street View app from Google Play.
Tap the map to place Pegman where you want to see a street view.
The 360-degree imagery closest to the location appears at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the image to see it in full-screen mode.
(If you swipe up, more images from other nearby locations appear.
you’ve got the option to select any of those images as well.)
Use the arrows on the street to navigate around the location.
Drag your finger across the screen for a 360-degree view of the images.
What If I Still Can’t Find My House?
So, you entered your home address and saw no results.
Some rural areas are still being mapped.
You canrequest to edit road segments on Google Mapsto suggest a new location be reviewed and possibly added.
Drag it to the road in front of your home.
Position the view to the front of the home and selectReport a problem.
Fill out the form and selectMy Homein theRequest Blurringsection.
Use the slider at the bottom to go back in time and see old views of the area.
While there’s no exact update schedule, in major cities, Google tries to update once a year.
For less populated areas, updates occur about once every three years or even longer.
