The first time you access Windows Fax and Scan, you better set up a fax modem.

In the New Fax windows, jot down the number you want to send the fax to in theToline.

you’ve got the option to also clickToto open your address book and select a recipient from there.

Then enter aSubjectfor your fax.

Enter the information you would like to fax in the body of the fax form.

When you’re ready, clickSendto send your fax.

Once your fax is ready, click theSendbutton.

Most services will provide confirmation your fax has sent.

Some will provide confirmation when it is delivered.
