Use controls to find General management > Reset.
Be sure to back up any important data first.
Go toSettings>General management>Reset>Factory data reset.

Scroll down and review the content that will be erased.
Here, you will also see accounts you’re still signed into.

TapResetat the bottom to start the wipe.
If you have a security pin or pattern, you will be asked to enter it to confirm.
The phone will reboot and factory-restore the software and all configs.

Don’t go through this unless you know your Google account password.
After you go through this, you’ll be required to sign in with a previously used Google account.

Then, pressHome,Volume Up, andPowerall at the same time.
Continue holding all three buttons until you seeRecovery Bootingdisplayed at the top of the screen.

Wait a moment until Recovery Mode is available.
You will see a list of text options.
UseVolume Downto scroll (down) untilWipe data/factory resetis highlighted in blue, then pressPowerto select it.
The phone will ask you to confirm, so pressVolume Downto highlightYesin blue and usePowerto confirm.
The process will start.
At the bottom of the screen, you will see status messages.
When you seeData wipe complete, the process has finished.
UsePowerto selectReboot system nowand restart the gadget.
The Galaxy S7 should now be wiped clean and restored to factory configs.
How Do I Reset My Galaxy S7 Without a Password?
Android includes a unique security feature called Factory Reset Protection (FRP).
Even after a factory reset, the phone will ask for the original account password.
OpenSettings>Accounts>Accountsand tap on an account in the list.
You must do this for each major account on your gear!
