This is known as a false positive.
Therefore, Norton won’t tell you whether there’s a virus there or not.
Select theScans and Riskstab.

Scroll down to theExclusions/Low Riskssection and selectConfigure [+]next toItems to Exclude From Scans.
SelectClear Files IDs Excluded During Scansto reset your exclusion options.
SelectAdd FoldersorAdd Filesand choose the file/folder you want to exclude.

When you are finished, selectOKto save the changes.
At this point, you could exit any open windows and terminate the Norton software.
Only exclude files and folders if you’re confident that they’re not infected.

Instead, you must tell Norton to ignore files after they are detected.
