Visitwww.icloud.comin a web web client and sign in with your Apple ID/Apple Account and password.
Re-slide in your password if the site requires a sign-in.
A map will display with all of your iOS and Mac OS devices represented with green circles.
ClickAll Devicesat the top of the screen and choose your iPad from the list.
A window will appear in the upper-right corner of the surfing app.
This window has three buttons: Play Sound, Lost Mode, and Erase iPad.
Lost Modewill lock down your gear without erasing it.
Choose your iPad from the list of devices displayed on the screen.
TapActionsat the bottom of the screen, and then tapErase iPadand confirm your request.
The iPad will reset if it has access to the internet.
Otherwise, it will reset the next time it connects.
