SelectEmpty Trash nowat the top of the Trash messages.
No messages should remain with theTrashlabel.
SelectDelete all spam messages now.

TapEmpty Trash NoworEmpty Spam Now.
TapOKin the deletion confirmation screen that opens.
Tap<to see the list of Gmail labels.

TapTrashorJunkto open a list of the emails labeled as such.
TapEditat the top of the screen.
Tap the circle to the left of each email you want to delete.

To permanently delete a single message from Gmail:
see to it the message is in the GmailTrashfolder.
Check any email you want permanently deleted, or open an individual message.
SelectDelete foreverin the toolbar.
