The simplest and fastest way of using custom ringtones on your iPhone is through official channels.
If it’s not, you canget the iTunes Store app in the App Store.

How Do I Put Custom Ringtones on My iPhone for Free?

Instead, you’ve got the option to useMusic.
If you want to use a file that isnt loaded into your library yet, clickFileand thenImport.
Or pressCommand O.
Navigate to the file you want to add, select it, then clickOpen.

Youll find the newly added file underRecently Added.
Right-clickon the song and selectGet Info.
Be aware the total time for the clip cannot exceed 30 seconds.

ClickOKto finalize your selection.
The 30 second clip will appear on the list underneath the original clip.
Just ensure both theStartandStopboxes are unchecked, and it should default back to normal when you clickOK.

Right-clickon the 30-second clip and selectShow in Finderto find the actual file on your system.
It should be using a .m4a file extension.
Right-poke the file and selectRename.

On theGeneraltab, make sureManually manage music, movies, and TV showsis on and clickApplyto finish.

How Can I Put Ringtones on My iPhone Without iTunes or Music?
TapView(the icon looks like a small series of horizontal lines towards the top-left of the screen).
From theFilestab, tapBrowse items from the Files app.

Tap and hold the song for a second or two, and it will import toGarageband.
Double-tapthe audio clip, tapSplitand drag the scissor icon down to cut the clip at the line.
Double-tapthe portion of the clip you dont want to use and selectDelete.

Tap the down arrow in the top-left corner of the screen and selectMy Songs.
Your clip will appear on the new screen, most likely with the title My Song.
Tap and hold the clip to pull up a menu, then scroll down and selectShare.

TapExportin the top-right corner of the screen, andGaragebandwill begin exporting the new ringtone for you.
TapOKto continue, orUse sound asif you want to use the new ringtone for something specific.
Otherwise, you could go into your iPhonesSettings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringtoneto set your new ringtone manually.
