You must have iTunes installed on your Mac or PC to download music to an iPod nano.
Windows doesn’t include it, but you candownload iTunes for Windowsfrom the Apple website.
Connect your iPod nano to your machine using the cable that came with the machine.

If you haven’t alreadyset up your nano, follow the on-screen instructions in iTunes to set it up.
ClickMusicnear the top of the list.
In the Music tab, check the box next toSync Music.
Learn about thenon-Apple MP3 players that are compatible with iTunes.
Click theSummarytab in the sidebar and checkManually manage music and videos.ClickDoneand exit the program.
Plug your iPod nano into your machine, select it in the iTunes sidebar and then click theMusictab.
