When the slide-out menu appears, selectSettings.

Tap theDelete Your Accountlink, located at the bottom of the screen.

You’ll be asked to verify your Uber password.

Uber asks you why you’re deleting your account.

Select from a list of reasons or chooseOtherif you’d rather not say.

Your account is now deactivated.

Uber will permanently delete the account in 30 days.

Navigate to theUber Account Deletion web page.

SelectDelete My Uber Account.

Enter the email address or phone number associated with the account and selectNext.

put in your password and selectNext.

If you have enabledtwo-step authenticationon your account, Uber will send you a verification code.

Enter this code and selectVerify.

Select theContinuebutton at the bottom of the page.

Choose a reason for deleting your account from the options offered.

Your account has now been deactivated and will be permanently deleted in 30 days.

Select theXon the Uber icon.

A message will now appear asking if you want to delete Uber.

Tap theDeletebutton to completely remove the app and all of its related data from your phone.
