Nearly everything you buy comes with an email confirmation or receipt.

Fortunately, it’s possible for you to delete this purchase history.

You just need to know where to go.

Google collects your purchase history so it can make its apps and services more useful to you.

Here, you’ll see all of your recent purchases, organized by date.

From theGoogle Purchasespage, select a purchase you want to delete.

At the bottom of the payment detail page, selectRemove Purchase.

A pop-up window explains that to remove the purchase in the history, you better delete the original email.

SelectView Emailto initiate the email.

The email opens in your Gmail account.

Select thetrash canicon at the top of the email to delete it.

There’s also no way to stop Google from scanning your emails and adding purchases to this list.

check that you’re signed in to your Google account.

SelectSearch settingsfrom the menu.

On the Search results page, under thePrivate resultssection, selectDo not use private results.

Changing this setting will make apps like Google Assistant less useful.

You’ll no longer receive reminders for things like flight departures or hotel reservations, for example.
