How to Delete Your Facebook Dating Profile (or Take a Break)

Tap themenubutton at the top right (Android) or bottom right (iOS).

Scroll down and selectDating.

Scroll down to theAccountsection, and tapDelete Profile.

SelectContinueto put your account on pause.

To resume your account, return to themenu>Datingpage from the Facebook app, and selectStart matching again.

The answer depends on what you want to happen.

Closing your profile is as if you didn’t even make an account to begin with.

Alternatively, the “take a break” option is great if you want to do just that.

What Happens When I Delete Facebook Dating?

What itwon’tdelete are items on your regular FB profile.

This is because a FB Dating profile is different.

This means it’s possible for you to completely erase it without affecting anything on your regular profile.

In the Facebook app, go toMenu>Dating>Profile.

Find the photo and tap theXin the lower-right corner, then tapRemove.

Open Facebook Dating and go to conversations.

Next to each person’s name, you’ll see when they last used Facebook Dating.
