Go to Facebook.com or launch the Facebook app and sign in to your account.
SelectManage Postslocated beneath the post composer.
SelectFiltersto narrow down the available options.
Take advantage of the filtering options to find the posts you want to delete.
The filters are especially helpful for finding old posts fast without spending time scrolling through your Timeline.
grab the square check box in the upper-right corner of any post thumbnail you want to delete.
you might only select up to 50 posts to delete at a single time.
To view the full post on Facebook.com, snag the post thumbnail.
When you’ve chosen all the posts you want to delete, selectNextat the bottom of the screen.
ChooseDelete Posts, then selectDone.
SelectHide Postson Facebook.com or tapHide from timelineon the app.
To unhide these posts, go to the Activity Log on your profile and then select theHidden from timelinetab.
This feature is currentlyonly availableon the Facebook mobile app.
Select theMenuicon in the lower right corner of the screen.
ChooseSee Your Profileat the top of the next screen.
SelectMorerepresented by the three dots (…) below your profile picture.
In the Profile tweaks list, selectActivity Log.
At the top of the activity log, selectManage Your Posts.
A list of your posts will appear.
Select thecheck boxnext to any content you wish to archive.
However, if you move content to the trash, Facebook permanently deletes it after 30 days.
Alternatively, selectTrashto delete the content.
Can’t Delete Some Posts?
For posts you’re unable to delete using the manage posts option, you candelete those posts individually.
On Facebook.com, snag the down arrow then chooseSettings>Privacy>Limit Past Posts.
SelectLimit Past Poststo confirm.
This setting doesn’t appear to be accessible in the mobile app.
SelectViewnext to Deactivation and Deletion.
SelectDelete My Account>Continue to Account Deletion> enterFacebook password>Continue>Delete Account.
Tounfriend someone on Facebook, go to theirprofileand select theFriendsicon at the top.
The user wont be notified when you unfriend them.
