It’s easy to tap-and-dragthe icon instead ofholdit.
Dragging it won’t show the same options that you see in the screenshot above.
If this happens, let go and take another crack, this time a bit slower.

Tap-and-holdthe icon for the app you want to delete.
SelectUninstall, thenOKto confirm.
For the most part, the Samsung options are nearly identical to stock Android options.

Unlock your phone and swipe down from the top of the display to fire up the notifications tray.
Select thesettingsoption, represented by a gear icon at the top right.
Scroll down and tapApps.

Next, you will see a list of all the apps installed on your gadget.
Scroll through the list until you find the app that you want to delete.
Tap it to open its options.

By default, the apps are listed in alphabetical order.
At the top of the next page, selectUninstallfollowed byOKto permanently remove the app from your gadget.
The App info screen is also where you’re able to wipe app caches.

Just find its listing and selectUninstall.
OpenGoogle Playand tap your profile picture at the top.
SelectMy apps & games.

Your phone might call this something different, likeManage apps & gadget.
Select theInstalledorManagetab to see a list of the apps currently on your rig.
Scroll through the list and pick the app you want to delete.

By default, this list is ordered by the apps that were most recently updated.
There’s a sort option at the top that you’ve got the option to change.
SelectUninstall, then chooseUninstallorOKfrom the confirmation prompt.

Tap thesearch iconat the top right of the Galaxy Store, and use it to search for the app.
Find the app from the results and tap it to open its information page.
Can’t Delete the App?
Every app you install yourself can be removed.
With the exception ofhidden admin apps, this process shouldn’t be too difficult.
A quick press-and-hold, as I described above, is usually all that’s necessary.
Instead, youll need todisable the appwhich basically hides it from view.
