To open a message in a new window, double-poke the message in the email pane.
In the email window, go to theMessagetab.
In theDeletegroup, choose theIgnore Conversationbutton.
Select theDon’t Show This Message Againcheckbox to avoid this step in the future.
Ignoring a message does notpermanently delete the messageor other emails from the sender.
It also does not block those email addresses or set up email filters.
It only ignores messages in one specific thread or group message.
Open a message that belongs to the conversation you want to recover.
Go to theMessagetab and selectIgnorein the Delete group.
Unmuting a conversation recovers the messages in the Deleted Items folder that belong to that specific thread.
