Open theAlexa appon your mobile rig.
Tap theDevicesicon in the lower left corner.
On theDevicespage, tap the+(plus) in the upper right corner.

In the menu that appears, tapAdd Group.
After you select or create a name for your group, tapNext.
On theDefine Groupscreen, first choose the Alexa-enabled gear from which you want to activate the command.

If you dont, you’ve got the option to findplenty of smart home devicesto choose from.
If you prefer, you could also control the group through the Alexa app on your mobile unit.
Creating an Alexa smart home group is not the same ascreating an Alexa routine.

you’re free to add the gear manually using steps that are similar to creating a group.
bring up the Alexa app on your mobile rig.
On theDevicespage, tap the group you want to edit.

On the gadget group page, tapEditin the upper right corner.
When youve made your choices, tapSaveand the new smart home machine is added to the group.
you’ve got the option to have multiple groups control the same machine.

Just choose the unit for each group, then when you control the group, that unit is included.
you might also add a new unit to the group using a voice command.
Just say, Alexa, addto.

Alexa will add the rig to the group automatically.
Deleting an Echo group is as easy as creating one.
On theDevicespage, tap the group you want to delete.
On theEdit Grouppage, opt for trashcan icon in the upper right corner.
Youre prompted to confirm you want to delete the group.
The group is deleted and youre returned to theDevicespage.
A confirmation message appears briefly at the top of the screen.
