Select once on theplot areaof the pie chart to highlight it.
Choose a second time on thesliceto be exploded.
Select and drag the selected slice of the pie,pulling it out awayfrom the rest of the chart.
Select theInserttab of theribbon.
Hover your mouse pointer over a chart bang out to read a description of the chart.
The left-hand chart is always the main chart, with the secondary chart always appearing on its right.
This arrangement cannot be changed.
SelectChange Chart Typeto open theChange Chart Typedialog box.
In the dialog box, choose theAll Chartstab.
SelectPiein the left pane and then choosePie of PieorBar of Piein the right pane for the dialog box.
In the pane, select thedown arrownext to theSplit Series Byoption.
