Open theMailapp on your iPhone.
From your inbox, tap theicon (<) in the upper-left corner to see yourMailboxeslist.
TapEditat the top of the screen.
SelectNew Mailboxin the lower-right corner.
key in the desired name for the new folder in the field provided.
To pick a different parent folder, tap the account underMailbox Location, and pick the desired parent folder.
TapSave, then tapDone.
Open theMailapp on your iOS gear.
On theMailboxesscreen, tap the mailbox containing the messages you want to move.
TapEdit, then go for the emails you want to move by tapping the circles beside each one.
opt for custom mailbox from the list that appears to move the chosen emails.
Tocreate a new label in Gmail, go toSettings>Labels>Create New Label.
To get email notifications in iOS 16, go toSettings>Mail>Notifications.
Make sureAllow Notificationsis turned on.
