Press the Xbox logo button on your Xbox controller to open theGuide.
Scroll to theSign inpane.
On an Xbox Series X or S, selectAdd or switch.
HighlightAdd newand pressAon your controller.
A keyboard will automatically appear on screen.
PressBon your controller to remove it.
HighlightGet a new emailand pressAto begin the account creation process.
You will be unable to change an adult account to a child account once it is created.
You dont need to create Xbox One accounts for each console.
Heres how to create an Xbox account on the Xbox website.
Open your preferred web surfing app and go to theofficial Xbox website.
choose the empty profile icon in the top-right corner.
key in your email address.
If you dont have an email address, clickCreate a new email addressto sign up for a freeOutlook email.
Enter a password for your Xbox account.
input your first and last name.
Select your country or region from the drop-down menu and type your birth date.
You will now be sent a confirmation email to the email address you provided.
Enter the code in the email and clickNext.
Complete the security question and clickNext.
Your Xbox account will now be created and youll automatically be logged in on the website.
