Open your email and verify your address by clicking the link delivered to your Inbox from Sony.

You’ll see a success message when you’re finished setting up your account.

When asked, drop your email address and create a password for your PSN account.
The next few steps ask about your name, location, and avatar.
Complete the on-screen questions, pressingNextafter each one.

The name you pick is seen when you first power on your PlayStation.
key in the Online ID you want to use, then pressNext.
Don’t use your real name!

This ID is seen by other people in games, messages, and other areas.
On the privacy tweaks screen, select one of the available profiles.
It’s your choice: selectLimited Data OnlyorConfirm and Continue.

When asked about personalized ads and purchase recommendations, pick eitherDisable and ContinueorEnable and Continue.
CheckI Agreeon the Important Legal Documents screen, then selectConfirm.
Select theVerify Nowlink in the email from Sony to confirm your account.

SelectText MessageorAuthenticator Appif you want to turn on two-factor authentication.
Or, selectDo This Later.

You’ve made a PlayStation internet account!
SelectCreate a Userand then chooseAccepton the User Agreement screen.
SelectNexton the following screen.
