When you’re friends with someone, you both automatically follow each other.
By default, they see your posts, reels, stories, and soundbites in your News Feed.
Becoming friends includes a link to their profile in your list of friends.
You’d need toblock the useroradd them to your Restricted Listto remove them as a follower.
Access your account options to add the follow button to your profile.
Use the menu at the top-right of Facebook to selectSettings & privacy>options.
ChoosePrivacyfrom the left column.
Doing this from the mobile app is similar to the website, but not exactly the same.
Tap the menu button on the top right, and then scroll down to expandSettings & privacy.
TapProfile options, followed byPublic posts.
If they have, you’ll see it on their profile page near the friend request button.
