How to Connect Your Light Bulbs to Google Home
bring up the Google Assistant app.
In theExploresection, tap thecompassicon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Tap thethree-dotsicon in the upper-right corner.
Scroll down to theServicessection and chooseHome Control.
Select thePlusicon (+) in the lower-right corner.
Scroll down and selectPhilips Hue.
Any other smart light bulbs you have also appear here.
UnderHomein the Google Assistant app, selectRooms.
You’re asked to assign lights to a room.
Choose thepencilicon next to the light, then select which room it belongs in.
SelectDonein the upper-right corner.
Now that your lights are connected to your Google Home, leave the light switch on.
If you turn off the light switch, it stops providing power to the bulb.
Leave the wall switch on, and ask Google to turn off the lights.
