You might prefer to connect an external Bluetooth speaker, especially when streaming music.
Check the manufacturer’s website to see if the speaker you want to connect is Alexa-compatible.
If so, Alexa could be used through the manufacturer’s app (with a few caveats).

Sonos
If not, you’re free to connect it through an Echo unit.
Before digging through app menus, try asking Alexa to pair with your Bluetooth speaker.
Use one of the following commands to set your Alexa-powered gadget to pairing mode.

Amazon
It will respond with"Searching."
Now, put your speaker into pairing mode.
This is typically done by pressing a physical button on the rig calledPairor labeled with a Bluetooth icon.

Pair Bluetooth Speakers on Echo Devices
Download the Amazon Alexa app.
Download For:
Sign in to your Amazon account from within the Alexa app.
TapDevicesfrom the bottom of the app.
Amazon
Choose the plus (+) icon at the top and selectAdd gadget.
Put your Bluetooth speaker into pairing mode.
When successful, you should hear Alexa say “Now connected to (insert equipment name).”

Pair Fire TV Devices With Bluetooth Speakers
Power on your Fire TV rig.
Scroll toSettingsin the menu.
Go toControllers & Bluetooth Devices>Other Bluetooth Devices>Add Bluetooth Devices.
Put your Bluetooth speaker into pairing mode.
you’ve got the option to also connect your Echo gadget to your Fire TV.
In this case, only one version of Alexa can be connected to the speaker at a time.
Be aware, however, that onlyAmazon Musiccan be used for these devices.
These speakers access virtual assistance on iOS and Android devices to stream music from various services.

Download the Alexa app when prompted.
