Download andinstall the Google Home appon your phone or tablet.
Launch the Google Home app on your phone or tablet, andset up your Chromecastas a new gear.
Open theNetflixapp on your phone and sign on if necessary.
Tap theCasticon (the box with a Wi-Fi signal in the lower-left corner).
Tap the Chromecast rig that you want to cast to.
In this case, we tapFamily Room TV.
All of your compatible devices will appear in this list, including non-Chromecast devices like Fire TV.
Locate something you want to watch, and tapPlay.
Your content will start playing on your TV in fullscreen mode.
That means you use your phone to pause, play, change the volume, and everything else.
Tap thespeakericon to adjust the volume.
This will adjust the volume of the cast, not your phone.
Tap thestacked rectanglesicon to select a different episode.
With the control menu open, tap the name of your Chromecast in the bottom center of the screen.
In this example, we tapFamily Room TV.
If you still have trouble, update and restart both devices.
Alternatively,connect your system to your TV.
To sign out of Netflix on Chromecast, you must sign out on the rig you are casting from.
In the Netflix mobile app, tap yourProfile icon>Sign Out.
