Go toPassword and security>Change password.
If you see a prompt for selecting your account, choose the one that saysFacebook.
type your current password in the first box, followed by the new password in the next two boxes.
If it’s too tough to remember, you could store it in apassword manager.
SelectChange passwordto finish up.
type your real phone number or email address, but then punch in any password you want.
SelectForgot password?at the bottom of the login screen (not the one in the red text).
Pick one of the rest options.
If you entered your email address in Step 2, you should see theSend code via emailoption.
Choose that, then selectContinue.
Check your email or texts for a code from Facebook.
Take note of the recovery code.
Enter the password reset code into the box and pressContinue.
Enter a new Facebook password and then selectContinue.
