Desktop computers only offer sleep options for when the computer is plugged in.
Typesleepin the Windows search box, and then selectPower and sleep options.
Select theStarticon, and then chooseControl Panel.

In the Control Panel, select thePower Optionsicon.
SelectChange plan settingsnext to your power plan.
To select a power plan, open Power Options.

In the Run dialog box, typepowercfg.cpl, then pressEnter(or selectOK).
In Power Options, selectCreate a power planin the left pane.
If you don’t want to enter a customized name, selectNext.

The default name, usuallyMy Custom Plan,remains in the Plan name field.
