If you prefer, you canchange your Gmail password from a computer.
Tap thehamburger menu(the three horizontal lines) located in the upper-left corner of the Gmail app.
TapSettingsin the drop-down menu.
On theSettingsscreen, tap yourGmail address.
TapManage your Google Account.
On theGoogle Accountscreen, tapPersonal Info.
type your current Gmail password, then tapNext.
key in your desired new password in theNew passwordfield and again in theConfirm new passwordfield.
TapChange Passwordto complete the process.
Your Gmail password and Google password are the same.
you might use the same password for Gmail,YouTube, andGoogle Drive.
Open theGmailapp and sign in.
Tap thehamburgermenu(three horizontal lines) located in the upper-left corner.
When the menu appears, scroll to the bottom and tapSettings.
Tap yourGoogle email addresslocated near the top of theSettingsscreen.
In theAccountsection, selectManage your Google Account.
On theGoogle Accountscreen, tapSecurity.
You may have to swipe across the top of the screen to locate theSecurityheading.
TapPasswordunder Signing in to Google.
TapChange Passwordto complete the process.
You’ll see a confirmation screen that says your password has changed.
