Keyboard Shortcut for Zoom
Some applications let you adjust the zoom level with your keyboard.
This method works in web browsers, Microsoft Office/365 programs, and other software.
MacOS
The zoom function is similar on a Mac except that you’ll use theCommandkey with+or -.

If you also hold downOption, only the font size will change, not the size of images.
In Windows 11, scroll down to theScale & layoutsection and pick the menu next toScale.
In Windows 8 and 7, selectDisplayon the bottom left.

In Windows 11/10, choose a zoom level.
In Windows 8, adjust the slider to make text and other items larger or smaller.
In Windows 7, choose a different zoom level, eitherSmaller,Medium, orLarger.

In Messages, go toMessages>Preferences>General, and then move theText sizeslider to the right.
Move theIcon sizeslider to the right, and chooseText sizeto pick a different text size.

SelectScaledand then choose a lower resolution.
This means each website can have its own custom zoom level.
To do that, you’re free to use theCtrlorCommandshortcut explained above.

Edge
Like most browsers, use the menu at the top right to find the zoom options.
Get deeper in the tweaks, in theAppearancesection, to change the default zoom level.
Safari
From theSafarimenu, choosePreferences.

Under theWebsitestab, choosePage Zoom, and then choose a default zoom level from the right panel.
Adjust the setting forWhen visiting other websitesto change the font size for other sites.
