To set a personal background image as your clock face, make this change from the Alexa companion app.
Go into theSettingsmenu and chooseSelect gear.
Then, scroll down toHome & Clock Backgroundand tapChoose New Photo.

Changing the picture on your Echo Spot is just as easy as changing the clock controls.
Youll need the Alexa app on your mobile gadget to connect your pictures to the gadget.
If you haven’t already, connect your Echo Spot equipment to the app.
From the Home screen, chooseSettings>Home & Clock>Clock & Photo Display>Personal Photos.
TapPhoto Displayand choose between the background options of Amazon Photos, Facebook, or Alexa App Photo.
In the Alexa App, selectMore>controls>Photosto link your accounts.

The numbers on your clock turn red when Night Mode is activated.
If you see a red light on your Echo Spot, that means your microphone is muted.
