Don’t like the way Siri sounds?
After that initial setup, you’re free to change how Siri sounds in the prefs app.
Here’s how:
OpenSettingson your iPad.
The Siri Voice screen shows the options for Siri’s voice.
Apple adds new voices periodically.
For example, Apple added an Indian voice for English speakers beginning with iOS 13 and iPadOS 13.
To preview the Siri voices, tap an option underVoice.
Different varieties will have more or fewer options than others.
For example, the Irish variety includes two voices: male and female.
After you choose a new Siri accent, the iPad downloads a file for the voice.
Use these prefs if you’re concerned about privacy or don’t plan to use Siri often.
But it also lets anyone who picks up your gear activate Siri.
But it also means your rig is constantly listening to you.
