Open thePhoneapp and chooseRecents.
Press-and-holdon the number you want to block until a menu pops up.
On some devices, just tap the number once and then select theinformation icon(i).
TapBlock, then selectBlockagain to confirm.
Some recent models also prevent a blocked number from contacting you by text messaging as well as by phone.
TapAdd phone numberorAdd a number(whichever option you see) and enter the number you want to block.
To unblock a caller, tapRemoveorMinus (-)next to the number.
SelectAddorBlockto add the number to your block list.
To block and unblock all unknown callers, toggle theUnknownswitch.
Tap theplus signat the top.
Enter the phone number into the text box, then tapSAVEat the top.
However, standardization of these features across all Galaxy models, from all carriers, hasn’t quite happened.
Certain features appear on some Galaxy phones, but not all.
You may also encounter variations in the terminology and icons appearing in menus.
For instance, what was once known as theAuto reject liston Galaxy phones is now typically called theBlock list.
Unknown callers might instead be referred to asAnonymous callersor asContacts without numbers.
