If you’re logged in to aGoogle account, your bookmarks are automatically saved in the cloud.
Locate and selectthree vertical doticon in the upper-right corner of the Chrome window.
Under the resulting drop-down menu, findBookmarks.

you’ve got the option to also fire up the Bookmark Manager using the shortcutCtrl+Shift+O.
Select thethree doticon to the right of the blue bar across the bookmarks tab, then selectExport bookmarks.
Select a location on your setup, name the backup file, then selectSave.

Your backup is now safely in the location where you stored it.

go for the three dots in the upper-right corner, then selectImport bookmarks.
Chrome opens a file web client window.
Locate your backup HTML file, select it, then chooseOpento import your bookmarks.

Chrome begins incorporating your backed up bookmarks.
As long as your backup was from Chrome, your bookmarks should be categorized where they belong.
Bookmarks from other browsers may end up in theOther bookmarkssection.

you’ve got the option to move bookmarks around as you like after you import them.
