Use a web online window to access Facebook or the Facebook mobile app foriOSorAndroiddevices and download the archive.
In the upper-right corner, select theAccounticon (downward facing triangle).
In the drop-down menu, selectSettings & Privacy.

In theSettings & Privacydrop-down menu, selectSettings>Privacy.
In the left pane, selectYour Facebook Information.
Next toDownload Profile Information, selectView.

Select theDate Range,Media Quality, andFormatin the corresponding drop-down lists.
In theMedia Qualitydrop-down list,Highis the default setting and the best choice for most people.
It gets you all those shared photos and videos in the highest possible quality.

Scroll down to see that every key in of information is checked for download by default.
The different types of information appear in folders.
For example, you’re able to find your photos in a folder calledPhotos.

initiate the Facebook app and tapMenu.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tapSettings & Privacyto expand the section.
Scroll down to theYour Informationsection and tapDownload Your Information.

Tap the circles next to the categories of data to add or remove them from the download.
They are all selected by default.
Scroll down and choose theDate Range,Format, andMedia Quality.

The defaults areAll of my data,HTML, andHigh, which are the recommended choices.
On theYour Facebook Informationpage, selectViewnext toAccess Your Informationto look at your data without downloading it.
Then choose any of the categories listed.

Finally, select any of the topics that appear.
Unlike downloading, you might see the information right away.
