Archive Mozilla Thunderbird Mail Folders
Combine backing uplocal Mozilla Thunderbirdfolders with cleaning up andarchive old mailremotely.
Close Thunderbird and go to yourMozilla Thunderbird profile directory.
ensure you pick the file that has no extension not the identically named file with the.msfextension.
(For example, Archive is correct but Archive.msf is not.)
Delete the folders whose corresponding files you have just copied to the archive location.
Open yourMozilla Thunderbird profile directory.
check that you do not overwrite existing files.
If a file with the same name already exists underLocal Folders, rename the archived folder file before copying.
The archived folder should appear underLocal Foldersin the folder list.
