What Are the Ways to Add Someone on Snapchat?
Tap thesearch iconat the top of any screen.

SelectAddto the right of the person you want to add.
If you don’t see them in the list, chooseView Moreto expand the results.

Go to theChat,Camera, orStoriestab, and tap theadd friend iconat the top.
SelectContinue, and then follow any prompts to give the app permission to access your contacts.
This will sync your contacts with the app.
You won’t see this step if you’ve previously given Snapchat permission to access your contacts.
If so, just skip to the last step below.
Search through the list, or browse manually, and tapAddnext to anyone you want to add.
Add People By Snapcode
Snapcodes are images resembling QR codes.
They are unique for every Snapchat user because they contain each person’s username.
They can be scanned for an easy way to share contact information.
Open Snap Map from the leftmost tab at the bottom of the app.
Browse the map, tapping hotspots or Snapchats you’re interested in.
On an iPhone, go toSettings>Snapchatand turn offContacts.
On an Android equipment, go toSettings>Apps>Snapchat>Permissionsand turn it off there.
When people you don’t know add you on Snapchat, they’ve probably found you through Quick Add.
