This article explains how to add and remove Windows 11 widgets.
Here’s how it works:
PressWin+Wto kick off the widgets board.
Or swipe right if you’re using a touch screen.

Select theplus(+) at the top of the panel.
SelectPinnext to the widget you want to add.
The widgets you selected will appear in the widgets panel.

Select a widget’s title to pop crack open the source app or website.
Select outside of the widgets panel or pressWin+Wagain to close it.
Third-party tools, however, can be used to add widgets directly to the desktop.

To remove a widget from the desktop, hover your mouse it and select theXthat appears.
Here’s how to access more options
pop kick open the widgets board (Win+Wor swipe right).
Select thethree dotsin the upper-right corner of the widget.

SelectCustomize widgetfor additional options.
Make any changes you want and selectSave.
Click and drag the widgets to rearrange their location on the panel.

Locate the widget you want to delete.
Select theWidgetstoggle to turn itOn.
The widgets shortcut appears in the lower-left corner of the taskbar.

At first, you’ll see a generic icon, but it will soon be replaced by theweather widget.
Select it to fire up the widgets panel.
pop swing open the widgets board and select your profile image in the upper-right corner.

SelectManage interestsat the bottom of the pop-up window.
Select theplus signnext to a category to prioritize those stories in your news feed.
To teach Windows which kinds of stories you like and dislike, use thethumbs upandthumbs downbuttons under any story.
