UnlikeTik Tok,Snapchat’s featured sound library is relatively small.

Launch Snapchat and tap theCameraicon.

TapMusic(musical notes icon) from the menu on the top right.

You’ll see aPlaylistscategory with various genres as well as aPopularcategory with a list of tracks.

Other tabs in the music section includeMy Favorites,Recents, andMy Sounds.

Explore the genres and featured music available, or enter a keyword or song title into theSearchfield.

Tap thePlayicon next to any track to preview the music.

When you decide on a track, tapNextat the bottom of the screen.

Record your video for your Snap.

You’ll see a sticker displaying the song title and artist.

(you’ve got the option to reposition this sticker if you like.)

Navigate to Snapchat’s music and sound options.

On theFeaturedtab, tap+ Create Sound.

TapUpload from Camera Rollto use sound from a video, or tapRecord Sound.

In this example, we’ll selectRecord Sound.

Tap themicrophoneto start recording your sound.

Name the sound and tapSave Sound.

Then selectEditto change its name or privacy setting or selectDeleteto remove it.

Tap thePlayicon next to your sound, then tapNext.

Adjust the sound slider, if necessary, then take or record your Snap.

Add any filters or enhancements, and tapSend Toto send your Snap with the custom sound.
