Instagram Stories are typically less than 15 seconds anyway so this limitation shouldnt be an issue for many.
Tap theMusicsticker to choose a different display style or hide the information altogether.
This sticker allows friends to add a song of their own to the story by tappingAdd yours.
Add other stickers, GIFs, and text as usual.
TapYour storyto publish your new Story to your Instagram account.
When you’re ready to share or publish the Story, tapShare.
Here’s how to do that.
choose the song you want to share.
Tap the ellipses in the upper-right corner.
Scroll down the options and selectShare.
ChooseStoriesfrom the list to open a new Story in the Instagram app.
Edit your Story as you usually would, adding filters, text, etc.
When you’re ready, selectYour storyor the arrow to view other sharing options.
SelectSharewhen you’ve made your selection.
The process is similar to adding music to an Instagram Story.
All video posts are published as Reels.
TapYour Storyor opt for+ (Plus)at the bottom of the screen.
Take or select a video from your photo library.
Search for and select a track to add to the video.
Choose the way the song displays and the clip to play and make any other edits.
When you’re happy with your work, selectDone.
Add captions and adjust other preferences, and selectSharewhen you’re ready to post the video.
Another option is tocreate original audio or an audio mix of licensed music for published Reels.
