You’ll need your own SNES games in the read-only memory (ROM) file format.

Connect your SNES Classic to your PC via a USB cable.

Get the latest version ofHakchi 2 from Github.

Download the latest version of Hakchi 2 from Github.

Download theZIP fileand extract its contents to your machine.

Openhakchi.exe(the icon looks like an NES controller).

If prompted to download additional files and start your gadget, open hakchi.exe again after restarting.

Select SNES (USA/Europe).

SelectSNES (USA/Europe).

SelectAdd more gamesand choose the ROMs you wish to add to your SNES Classic.

you’ve got the option to upload .SMC files or ZIP folders containing them.

Select Add more games and choose the ROMs you wish to add to your SNES Classic.

Under the Custom Games list, go for the games you uploaded to add box art.

SelectGoogleto get images directly from Google.

Once finished, selectSynchronize selected games with NES/SNES Mini.

Click on the games you uploaded under Custom Games to add cover art.

You’ll be asked to confirm you have already flashed the custom kernel.

After the game files finish uploading, turn off the SNES Classic, then disconnect it from your setup.

Plug the SNES Classic power source back in, then turn on your console.

In the Hakchi 2 window, select Kernel > Install/Repair.

You don’t have to flash the custom kernel every time.

ROM is not a file extension, but a jot down of file.

Some SNES games released exclusively in Japan will also not work.

Follow the on screen instructions.

Press theY buttonto save.

Select Synchronize selected games with NES/SNES Mini and confirm that you already flashed the custom kernel.
