Here’s how to add new contacts from within the Viber app.
Open Viber and tapCalls.
Enter the contact’s phone number and selectDone.
Viber finds the person automatically.
You added the new Viber contact.
If you’re with the person, tapQR Scanner.
Then, have them tapMorefrom their Viber app and tap theirQR code.
Scan their QR code to quickly add them as a contact.
initiate the Viber app and tapCallsto go to your contacts list.
Tap theAdd Contactbutton in the upper-left corner.
Enter the contact’s phone number and tapDone.
Enter the contact’s first and last names, then tapSave.
TapInviteto send the person an invitation to use Viber.
Viber generates a text inviting your new contact to use the service.
Open Viber and tapMore.
Enter the person’s phone number and tapDone, or tapQR Scannerto scan their QR code.
