Placing a border around a section of text in a Word doc takes just seconds.

On the ribbon, selectDesign.

Highlight the text you want to put the border around.

In thePage Backgroundgroup, selectPage Borders.

In theBorders and Shadingdialog box, select theBorderstab.

Choose a style, color, and width for the border.

The border surrounds the text you initially chose.

Place the cursor anywhere within the bordered text.

On theDesigntab, in thePage Backgroundgroup, selectPage Borders.
